Tolga Ciftci receives the Ph.D.

Congratulations to Tolga Ciftci who was awarded the Ph.D. in Computer Science at the May 2013 graduation ceremony. Tolga’s dissertation is titled “A framework for re-purposing textbooks using learning outcomes/methodology, device characteristics, representation and user dimensions.” His advisor was Richard Furuta.

Paul Logasa Bogen II, Ph.D.

Congratulations to Paul Logasa Bogen II who successfully defended his dissertation in August 2011 and will be awarded the PhD in the Fall 2011 ceremony.  Paul’s dissertation is titled “Intelligent Information Interaction for Managing Distributed Collections of Web Documents.”  His co-advisors are Richard Furuta and Frank Shipman.

Said Kashoob, PhD
