Assignment 4: Understanding the Evaluation Process, Due Nov. 21, 2006

Part of your class project is to design an evalutation for the software prototype you are creating. In this assignment, you must complete forms as if you were going to actually running the evaluation.

To do this go to the Texas A&M University Institutional Review Board (IRB) information. CITI Course in The Protection of Human Research Subjects. You will take the "Social & Behavioral Investigator Course Only".

To do this go to the CITI Course Website and Register for the CITI Course. Select "Texas A&M University" from the All Others list and continue. Select a user name (email address works well) and password. When you get to a course selection, pick "Social & Behavioral Investigator Course Only". Important: All reports are to be printed on a word processor or typed (no handwritten assignments will be accepted). It is expected that students will correct grammar and spelling--these are grounds to deduct from your grade. (i.e. Use a spelling checker and reread what you write before turning it in.)
