WebDAV information

Hi,

At the most recent hypermedia working group meeting (OHS 3.5), I gave a very brief and somewhat incomplete presentation on WebDAV. WebDAV stands for Web Distributed Authoring and Versioning. It is an extension to HTTP/1.1 to support collaborative (asynchronous) authoring on the WWW. Jim Whitehead, a graduate student here at UCI, is the chair of the IETF working group that is defining this new protocol. Jim has provided me with information on the best ways to obtain additional information on WebDAV. This information is included below. My apologies that it has taken me this long to follow up on this subject which I promised to do at OHS 3.5. Ken
