Dear OHS Working Group Member,

The next OHS Working Group Meeting (the 3.5 meeting) will take place September 8-11, 1997 at Aarhus University, Denmark. The purpose of the meeting is to work on the Open Hypermedia Protocol (OHP) Specification, which was first presented and discussed at the 2nd OHS Workshop (Hypertext '96). Since then the OHP has been discussed at two additional occasions: the 2.5 OHS Working Group Meeting last December in Southampton and at the 3rd OHS Workshop (Hypertext '97). The goal of the 3.5 meeting is to take a major step forward in the discussions and reach consensus on a first working version of the OHP Specification, which can serve as the basis of various experiments and implementations.

A Web site has been set up for the 3.5 meeting:

  http://www.daimi.aau.dk/~kock/OHS3.5

Currently, the web site contains a few additional details on the meeting and more will follow in the future. Please use the Web site to keep yourself up to date on the meeting. I will not send messages like this in the future. Future announcements will only be made on the OHS mailing list at Texas A&M University. For those of you that are not on the OHS mailing list, this is a good opportunity to subscribe - see specific details at

        http://www.csdl.tamu.edu/ohs/resources.html

If you plan to attend the 3.5 meeting please let me know as soon as possible. I currently have the following (local) people on my preliminary participants list:

Kaj Grønbæk, Aarhus University
Peter J. Nürnberg, Aarhus University
Uffe Kock Wiil, Aarhus University

If you have further questions, I'll do my best to answer them.

Cheers,

Uffe K. Wiil
