CPSC 675/Digital Libraries/Fall 2004/Leggett/Assignment 1/5 points/Due September 13

Planning a Digital Library

Your plan should contain: the names of the team members, responsibility of each team member, the technologies you plan to use, the metadata standard you plan to use, the types of access you plan to allow to the collection, and an idea of how you will be generating the digital objects (sources, transformations, etc.). In addition, you should state the ideology of the collection: what you plan to achieve with the collection, the purpose, objectives, and principles for inclusion and exclusion of items in your collection. This statement of ideology can be used in the introduction to your collection.

When you are finished, link it to your class homepage.
