On January 2001 I went to Mount Aconcagua. During this trip I visited Chile and Argentina. Two countries I've never been before. Thus while the main objective was the climb, I also enjoyed the sightseeing and cultural experiences of visiting these places.
Aconcagua is a serious mountain that must not be underestimated as it reaches an altitude of 6962 meters (22,841 feet). This is a challenge even for the fittest athlete. However, climbing Mount Aconcagua is not just a matter of fitness. There are many risks that can be life threatening. Thus, I took on this expedition with the aid of the world-class mountain guides of ADventure Expeditions.
I still need to scan all the pictures. I will be showing them as I get them...
