- The requirement for an independent conference registration seems to point in the direction of distributed operating systems and hypertext operating systems.
- The multiple cursor approach should follow a more relaxed metaphor, just like in a chalkboard meeting not everyone is holding a chalk all the time. Just show in the shared screen the cursor of a participant when an action is performed.
- The communication channel is getting better, but there might be issues when different participants have different channels (e.g. one is using a telephone line and another is using a direct connection to Internet).
