Work Group Structures and Computer Support: A Field Experiment

- From the graphs in page 447 it is possible to observe that even at time 1, the retirees were already close and forming a clique. This could have affected the study.
- It is hard to notice a good pattern for the standard group both at time 1 or at time 2.
- It was interesting the point of how leadership varied from the employees group to the retirees group.
- The learning curve that presented a serious effect on the behavior may have a different effect if the study would be conducted today or ten years from now, since most people are or will be familiar with the electronic medium. However, it is valuable since technology could change enough so a new paradigm would change the environment.
