Approximate Grading Scheme:
35% Term project (multiple presentations; written and oral reports) 20% Class quality when directing discussion/participation/preparation 20% 10 research paper summaries (2% each) 25% Assignments Assignment 0 (5%), evaluation of an existing digital library (10%), research proposal (10%)
Surveys current research and practice in Digital Libraries, which seek to provide intellectual access to large-scale, distributed digital information repositories; current readings from the research literature which covers the breadth of this interdisciplinary area of study.
