Since first component was constructed in 1927, the stadium has had numerous additions in 1929 (added east stands and north end zone), 1954 ( added a narrow upper deck and press box to the west stands), 1967 (added a second deck over both east and west sides) and in 1979 (added a third deck to both sides as well as new dressing rooms and 48 luxury boxes). The seating capacity of the stadium is over 74,000.
