Final Exam (8 to 10 a.m.)
Regular examinations are worth 75 points, for a total of 375 points, and the lowest score will be dropped, for a total of 300 points. You are required to take all the exams unless you have a university excused absence. If you have an excused absence, the missed exam grade will be dropped as the lowest. If you do not have a university excuse, you will be given a zero and that grade will not be dropped. Let me know as soon as possible if you know you are going to miss an exam. There will be seven or eight unannounced pop quizzes at 10 points each, with anything over 50 pts counted as bonus points. The final is comprehensive and is worth 100 points. Exam scores will be available using WebCT. We are not allowed to post scores in any other manner or give scores via e-mail or over the phone.
The laboratory point total is 400. Your final grade will be computed on the basis of 850 points. Specific point values in lab will be provided in the laboratory schedule.
