Golden Gourd Award
Fall Semester, 2006
    After a hiatus of several years, the Golden Gourd was awarded again this semester.  Heather Barr, a junior Biology major outdistanced all of her classmates to earn top honors.  Presentation of this semester's gourd (a round, full-bodied gourd with fanciful floral decoration) was awarded by her TA, Darren Henrichs, at the final exam on December 13.  Her classmates gave Heather a well-deserved round of applause.
