Due to a lack of general interest and funding, operations of the Flora of Texas Consortium have come to an end.  One assumes that the objectives of the organization, a digital flora of Texas, will eventually be accomplished but, for now, application of resources available for Texas floristics is focused on traditional media.

Products generated by FTC projects will be maintained, with help from the Texas A&M Center for the Study of Digital Libraries, at the Digital Flora of Texas website for as long as possible and updated as time permits.  An archive (not updated) of the FTC website will also be maintained, at least for the short term.
